Description
A hand-painted, production screen-used animation background, and presentation cel of Ratcliffe from Disney's Pocahontas.
- Sold as a set of 2: 1 hand-painted background, and 1 presentation cel, framed together.
- Since cels were no longer being used to animate the characters (computers were being used), Disney created hand-painted presentation cels that matched the image on the screen when these backgrounds were used.
- Accompanied by a gallery letter of authenticity and studio seal.
- This work is presented framed.
Pocahontas was Walt Disney's 33rd feature film. It was released in 1995 and was considered to be part of the Disney Renaissance. It was co-directed by Eric Goldberg (along with Mike Gabriel). The movie received two academy awards.
