  • A presentation inscription by Raymond A. Palmer appears on the half-title page: "In Memory of a great writer. / Compliments of Raymond A. Palmer."
  • Bound in original fabrikoid, stamped with gold titling to front panel, text block edges stained red. 


The first posthumous collection of stories by Weinbaum, who died prematurely at the age of 33 a year before this volume was published. Includes seven novelettes and short stories, including “Dawn of Flame” and “Martian Odyssey.”


Raymond A. Palmer, whose inscription appears on the half-title page, was an early science fiction writer who went on to edit the Ziff-Davis pulps Amazing Stories and Fantastic Stories.
