Dust jacket has large open tears along the edges, an open tear on the rear cover, closed tears throughout, mild chipping along the joint edges, severe age toning throughout, stains throughout, and mild wear along the edges.

Boards have mild wear along the edges, bending along the fore corners, bending along the spine head and tail edges, mild fraying along the spine head and tail edges and the fore corners, a white stain on the rear cover, mild shelving wear, and mild wear along the edges.

Text block is separating from the spine, has stains on some pages throughout, splitting to the gutter between the front end-pages, and pages 8-9, 24-25, 40-41, and 57-73, has tears along the edges of the title page, dedication page, and pages 83, 87, 91, 134, 137, 139, and 155, mild age toning throughout, moderate age toning along the edges, and mild wear along the edges.
