10 Portraits Photographiques de Christian Boltanski contains a series of portraits purportedly showing the artist aged 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 10, 11, 14, 17 and 20. Annette Messager took these photographs one afternoon in the Parc Montsouris in Paris when Boltanski enlisted strangers and friends' children to pose; Boltanski himself only features in the final portrait, but aged 28, not 20.
