"Anton Reiser" is a pseudonym for Einstein's son-in-law, Rudolph Kayser. In Einstein's one-page preface, he writes that "The author of this book is someone who knows me rather intimately in my endeavor, thoughts, beliefs—in bedroom slippers..." The biography is noted as Louis Zukofsky's first book (i.e., translated anonymously by Zukofsky). An elusive title, the work is rarely encountered signed by Einstein.
