Printed as a large paper edition of possibly 400, likely from the sheets that were, of Whitman’s original intention, meant to include the poem "Good-Bye My Fancy" but didn’t due to his failing health.

Bound in forest green cloth on bevel-edged boards with titles stamped in gilt on upper and spine, toe edge gilt, 1 p. advertisement at back.
