Description
Japanese woodblock print from the Meiji period.
- Depicting the marriage of the future Taishō emperor Yoshihito to noblewoman Kujō Sadako by artist Watanabe Nobukazu 渡辺延, also known as Yôsai Nobukazu 楊斎延 (Japanese, 1872-1944).
- Nishiki-e, ink and color on vertical ôban.
- Signature at lower left.
- Museum placard on verso.
- Black metal frame glazed with acrylic.
