<p>A porcelain painted vase from the Meiji period.</p><ul><li>Long neck vase by famed ceramicist Miyagawa (Makuzu) Kōzan 宮川香山, (Japanese 1842–1916).</li><li>Appointed artist to the Japanese Imperial household, he was one of the major potters of the Meiji Era and won prizes at 51 exhibitions including the World's Fair and the National Industrial Exhibition from 1876 to 1913.</li><li>Depicting white and blue flowers in a basket weave.</li><li>Artist seal to underside.</li></ul>
