Description

Ernst Haas (Austrian, 1921-1986).

Large-format chromogenic print of a city street in the mid-20th century, published in a 24-page color photo essay on New York City by "LIFE" magazine.

Printed posthumously and signed by Alexander Haas, the photographer's son, on the Haas Studio label on verso.

Title, date, edition 1/15, and annotation "Estate of Ernst Haas" in ink on the reverse, accompanied by a Haas Studio, New York, label.
