Description
The iconic design of the Nautilus created by Gerald Genta, was inspired from portholes on ships. The first iteration, Reference 3700, was released in 1976, marking a groundbreaking approach during the quartz crisis that challenged the traditional Swiss watch industry. Patek Philippe, among other brands, felt the need to innovate, and this bold move paid off as the Nautilus quickly became a centerpiece in many collections.
In 2006, marking the 30 years of the release of the ‘Jumbo’, Patek Philippe introduced the reference 5711/1A, a contemporary, upgraded iteration that became an instant success. The model was eventually discontinued in 2021, further enhancing its desirability.
This beautiful Nautilus reference 5711, offered with its accessories including its Certificate of Origin and presentation case, from its original and only owner, represents a fantastic opportunity to acquire an all-time must have and highly sought-after watch.
