- Sold as a set of 2.
- An impressive pair of carved doors from the Dayak tribe of Borneo.
- From a longhouse on the Mahakam River near San Marinda, they would have protected the building from malevolent spirits with the carved intertwining Aso, or guardian spirits.
- Mounts on reverse for wall display.
Provenance
Collected in Borneo in the 1990s.

GoodModerate signs of overall patina and wear commensurate with age and use.
Doors have hung outdoors in a protected area for many years, some signs of fading and small cracks.
Split to bottom at right side of one door.
