Man Ray (American, 1890-1976)
- Cadeau or The Gift is a sculpture of an iron with 14 brass nails glued to its sole.
- An iconic work of the Dada movement.
- Originally Cadeau was a one-off piece created in 1921 by Ray as a gift to the gallery owners of his first exhibition, the poet Philippe Soupault and his wife.
- Includes box and styrofoam insert.
