American Art Nouveau sterling silver and cut glass claret jug.
- Made by Gorham in Providence, ca 1890.
- Cylindrical body with spread base.
- Sterling silver collar with helmet mouth.
- Branch rims and high-looping leaf-mounted handle.
- Fruiting berry branches cut to glass and applied to mouth and handle.
- Interlaced script monogram engraved on collar front.
- Fully marked including maker’s stamp and number D1490.
