Ronan Day-Lewis is a painter and award-winning filmmaker. He received his BA from Yale University, and directed a trilogy of videos for a Philip Glass album. His visual art has been the subject of two solo exhibitions.
It’s Okay To Eat Fish Cause They Don’t Have Any Feelings is an oil pastel work on canvas which plays on the tradition of medieval tapestry. It reimagines The Unicorn Tapestries in a deep blue dreamscape, where the outlined figures are at once recognizable and uncanny.
