Citarella’s work focuses on the current political landscape, especially the cultural and aesthetic stagnation brought about by our ultra post-modern society, political structures and the prevalence of over-consumption. Citarella’s work utilizes image production and manipulation to create a glossy, if worrying, imaginary knowledge landscape informed by digital engagement.
