FriendsWithYou is the collaborative art project of Los Angeles-based artists Samuel Borkson and Arturo Sandoval III, working collectively since 2002 to create modern modes of spirituality with the goal of having a positive impact on our world. Their artworks often employ unconventional materials and can blend a wide range of experiences.
Made out of plastiline clay and individually colorized, the overall picture shows a happy collection of items, ideas and memorabilia based on the collective’s personal experiences. The overarching goal of the elements are to spread friends and harmony, much like the way the collective views their mission in the world.
