Shahla K. Friberg (Canadian, b. 1978).

Shahla K. Friberg is a Canadian-born artist who lives and works between Los Angeles, CA and Skåne, Sweden. Friberg creates multidimensional sculptures that consist of colored glass and mirror soldered together using copper foil, much like the traditional stained glass technique. Her works often strike an aesthetic balance between the rigidity and reflected surfaces of glass and the beauty of form that is the final sculpture.
