Nike

As a part of the 2006 “Collection Royale”, Nike set out to release a number of silhouettes commemorating great athletes. As a part of the official releases, superstars like LeBron James, Serena Williams, and Michael Vick were given a Nike Air Force 1 Low, a Nike Dunk Low, and a Nike Air Force 1 High, respectively. The final installation of the collection, a high-top Dunk, was originally intended to be inspired by Tiger Woods, a longstanding Nike athlete.

Dressed in a vibrant red, in homage to the iconic polo shirt sported by Woods during his early victories, this sample pair, made in 2005, is adorned with motifs related to his sport: A design of a golf bag is most noticeable, and is placed on the face of an Ace of Clubs playing card. On the toe box is a small TW logo used by Tiger Woods during that time.

This sample pair comes with various sample stickers attached with NIKE DUNK HIGH PREMIUM (TIGER) attached. Ultimately, a similar pair was released under the name ‘Dontrelle Willis’ with a full patent leather finish instead of the matte finish found on this sample pair.
