The Hermès Constance was introduced in 1959, designed by Catherine Chaillet and named after her daughter. The Constance Elan is the only Hermès Constance that is rectangular in shape. The newest version of the Hermès Constance Elan is slimmer, slightly smaller and only has one interior section.
