Nike

This pristine pair of sample Nike Air Yeezy 1s in the Zen Grey colorway were designed by Kanye West and Mark Smith. 

The shoes still have their sample hang tags attached, and were produced in December of 2008 in Nike’s Feng Tay factory, prior to their general release in April of 2009. 

Kanye West famously premiered an Air Yeezy prototype at his 2008 Grammy Awards performance of Stronger and Hey Mama. In the years following, Kanye West would famously collaborate with Nike on a variety of Air Yeezy releases, creating an assortment of extremely important products in the context of modern fashion, sneakers and overall design.
