We are pleased to present the first installation of Modern Discoveries sales for 2025, which brings together diverse artworks of various media from many of Sotheby’s Fine Art Departments in an exciting auction context. The Modern Discoveries sales feature paintings, works on paper, prints, photographs, and sculptures from the last 150 years, beginning with early Impressionism and spanning the groundbreaking Modernist movements of the early and mid-20th century.

The Modern Discoveries auction will open for bidding on Wednesday, February 19th, and lots will close in succession on Thursday, February 27th. Our highlights exhibition will open at our York Avenue galleries on Wednesday, February 19th.
