The brooch designed as a Christmas rose, set with polished black mother-of-pearl petals, the centre embellished with brilliant-cut diamonds, mounted in 18 karat white gold; and a brooch with similar design, set with polished coral petals, mounted in 18 karat yellow gold; both signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered, French assay and maker's marks, two pouches stamped Van Cleef & Arpels.
