The limited-edition Patek Philippe 5575G-001 was released in 2014 to celebrate the brand’s 175th anniversary. This World Time Moonphase watch, produced in a limited run of 1,300 pieces, showcases Patek Philippe’s mastery in blending complications with timeless elegance.

Encased in 18k white gold with a 39.8mm diameter, the watch features an exquisite smoked gray dial adorned with a revolving 24-hour ring and city disc, allowing the wearer to track multiple time zones simultaneously. At the heart of this timepiece is the Caliber 240 HU LU, an ultra-thin self-winding movement that integrates the world time complication with an innovative moonphase display—the first of its kind in Patek Philippe’s history.

What makes the 5575G truly special is its beautifully executed moonphase indicator, which replaces the traditional subdial with a large, photorealistic depiction of the moon floating against a starry backdrop. This design choice adds a poetic touch to the watch.

The 35-jeweled Caliber 240 HU LU, with its 22k micro-rotor, is not visible through an exhibition case back in this instance. Instead, it features a traditional snap-on closed case back, providing a large canvas for the anniversary engraving.

The watch is paired with a hand-stitched black alligator leather strap and a white gold deployant clasp, ensuring both comfort and luxury. As one of the most celebrated anniversary editions, the 5575G is more than just a timepiece—it is a symbol of Patek Philippe’s dedication to innovation, craftsmanship, and timeless design. This particular example is even more desirable as it still retains its factory seal.
