white pine, maple, ash
height 39 ½ in.
the underside of seat inscribed W. Russell and Lydia C. Everett 1903. Written on a paper label taped to the back of the seat extension supporting the bracing spindles is Elizabeth Coffin gave this chair to L. C. Everett in 1902.
