Description

of rectangular shape, the granite marble top inset with a gadrooned border, above a frieze decorated with marquetry foliage in brass and pewter against tortoiseshell and ebony, above eight square legs headed by ram’s heads and terminating with spiral turned toupie feet, the legs joined by serpentine stretchers centred by a crowned orb with fleurs-de-lys, adorned throughout with foliate gilt-bronze mounts, stamped twice to frame 1878 / HENRY DASSON / 18, numbered in white chalk 264/1


95cm. high, 270cm. wide, 132cm. deep; 3ft. 1 3/8 in., 8ft. 10 ¼ in., 4ft. 4in.
