Description

Château Trotanoy 1998

Pomerol

Taiwan importer's back labels

On its 20th birthday, it is plush and plummy and yet still quite tight and with power behind it, waiting to burst out. Big textured and structured, it has further to go. Serena Sutcliffe, MW

WA 96+

陳年二十載,此酒口感豐滿,充滿李子香,但仍緊緻有後勁,似要噴薄而出。酒體宏碩深厚,還能繼續陳年。施慧娜(葡萄酒大師M.W.)

Provenance

Sotheby’s is excited to offer further wines from The Wonderful Cellar of An Important Asian Collector. Amassed over 20 years, this remarkable collection showcases the very best wines, with case quantities from France and the New World. The cellar showcases over 100 lots of classified growths and gems from Bordeaux's Left and Right Banks, including great vintages such as 2005, 2009 and 2010. Rare and mature champagnes in parcel quantities are on full display, such as Dom Perignon 1996 and Cristal 2006. Last but not least, new world gems Penfolds Grange and Joseph Phelps Insignia round off this great collection. Professionally stored prior to inspection. Some bottles have Taiwan importer's back labels. Importer's information for each lot is available upon request.
