This unique triple-conjoined revolving vase, completed in 1754, perhaps a farewell tribute to the Emperor, was the crowning achievement of Tang Ying’s career. This innovative masterpiece was formerly in the collections of Chang Foo Yau (1884-1963), President of Ton-Ying & Co., New York, and William H. Whitridge (1849-1936). Since its last appearance at the inaugural international auction in Beijing in 1992, it has been cherished exclusively in private for over thirty years.

乾隆十九年唐英鉅作三元轉旋瓶，機關神妙，讓人嘖嘖稱奇。此瓶經紐約運通公司創辦人姚昌復（字叔來，1884-1963年）及巴爾的摩 William H. Whitridge（1849-1936年）遞藏。1992年北京首場國際拍賣會上易主後潛藏宅第，闊別藝壇三十年餘，如今復現，難能可貴。
