These two period photographs are of Louis Tiffany’s boyhood home in Irvington, New York. The large gilded-age mansion, named “Harmony,” was located on the banks of the Hudson River in an area of town known as “Tiffany Park” (the present-day Matthiessen Park). Charles Tiffany and his family lived in one half of the structure and the other half housed banker James L. Dunham, and his immediate family, which included the artist Samuel Colman, Dunham’s brother-in-law.
