Cf.: Walter Graser, Franz Hemmerle, Alexander von Württemberg (eds.), Kostbare Manschettenknöpfe – Von Pablo Picasso bis James Bond, Munich, Hirmer, 2016, pg. 29 for the ruby, sapphire and diamond cufflinks.

Albrecht, Duke and Crown Prince of Württemberg (1865-1939) received the pair of ruby, sapphire and diamond cufflinks for his seventieth birthday in 1935. The ruby ring inscribed 24 January refers to his wedding anniversary. The wedding celebrations for his union to Archduchess Margarete Sophie of Austria (1870-1902) were held with great pomp in Vienna on 24 January 1893.
