Description

Comprising: a pair of cufflinks, the terminals collet-set with a cabochon chrysoprase, citrine, amethyst and moonstone respectively; a pair of rhodonite cufflinks; a pair of cabochon amethyst cufflinks, numbered, partial maker’s marks; and a pair of cufflinks, each terminal composed of a polished amethyst centering an old cushion-shaped diamond.

The pair of rhodonite cufflinks was given by Charlotte of Schaumburg-Lippe, Queen of Württemberg (1864-1946), to Albrecht Eugen, Duke of Württemberg (1895-1954) in memory of her husband Wilhelm II, King of Württemberg (1848-1921).


Wilhelm II, King of Württemberg (1848-1921) presented the pair of amethyst cufflinks to Albrecht Eugen, Duke of Württemberg (1895-1954) on 11 January 1905.


The pair of gem set cufflinks and the pair of amethyst and diamond cufflinks belonged to Albrecht, Duke and Crown Prince of Württemberg (1865-1939).
