where acquired
Passignano was probably a pupil of Girolamo Macchietti (1535-1592), though the more formative influence upon his style was Federico Zuccaro (1540-1609), with whom he worked in 1575-1579 on the decoration of the cupola of Santa Maria del Fiore, Florence.
