With Galerie Heuschen, Wuppertal, by 18 May 1960;
Gifted to Hermann Josef Abs (1901–1994), Bonn, 15 October 1961 by the Board of Directors of Vereinigte Glanzstoff-Fabriken AG (according to a metal plaque on the reverse of the frame);
Thence by descent to the present owner.
