Charles III, Duke of Parma and Piacenza (1823-1854, Duke of Parma 1849-1854). This helmet of historic importance is a unique piece representing the last reigning Duke of the House of Bourbon Parma as supreme commander of the armed forces. Standard officers wore simpler helmets with simply designed emblems without enamel.
