NIKE, NIKE MESH JERSEY, SIZE 54 (+6 LENGTH)
This away ‘City Edition’ jersey was worn in the 1st half by Luka Dončić on June 6, 2024 during Game 1 of the NBA Finals when the Dallas Mavericks played the Boston Celtics.
Throughout his young career, Luka Dončić always seems to raise his level of play when the lights are the brightest. In his first NBA Finals appearance, Luka led the way in scoring for the Mavericks, recording a double-double and putting up 30 points against the Celtics defense. He also grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds, 1 assist, and 2 steals.
Luka showcased his ability to score from all over the floor, hitting shots in the mid-range, from beyond the arc and at the rim. One highlight came early in the 1st quarter as the Celtics tried to double-team him. Luka split the double team, drove through the paint and hung in the air avoiding 3 defenders as he rolled in a layup. Despite putting on a scoring clinic, Luka and the Mavericks could not overcome big performances from Jaylen Brown and Kristaps Porzingis. The Mavericks went on to lose to the Celtics, 107-89.
