The artist

Nullish is a digital artist and coder, who’s been at the forefront of on-chain, minimalist code, maximal output art projects since 2021. Specializing in leveraging Ethereum through Solidity contracts and Bitcoin through the Ordinal standard, they produced a range of on-chain art pieces known for their visual allure and conceptual depth. These creations not only challenge the conventional boundaries of digital art but also champion the principles of decentralization and tamper-proof authenticity.

This collection is a historic milestone in both sat hunting and Bitcoin's history. It is the first series of nine artworks, each inscribed on sats mined by Satoshi Nakamoto on January 9, 2009. Notably, this collection is created from the 10 BTC transferred from Satoshi to Hal, originating from the reward for mining Block 9. Each piece in this series pays tribute to its origins, symbolized by a prominent '9', reflecting the date (January 9) and the block number (Block 9) from 2009. Only nine of these unique pieces were created, making them a significant part of Ordinal history.
