Acquired directly from the artist in Delhi, 1984 by Marie Petitclerc and Guy Demers

Guy Demers was stationed in Delhi from the spring of 1983 to 1984 for an architectural project. Guy worked with GSM Design, Montreal’s first interdisciplinary design firm who were responsible for the interior design and architecture of Bharat Hotels Limited in tandem with ARCOP. Marie joined him in September of 1983 and together they explored the cultural fabric of the historic city, befriending many artists and literati including Arpana Caur and Manjit Bawa, amongst others.
