Petite tête au nez camus or Petite tête au chignon

inscribed with the initials HM, stamped with the foundry mark C. VALSUANI CIRE PERDUE and numbered 4 (on the back)

height: 14 cm. 5 ½ in.

height (with base): 25.4 cm. 10 in.

Conceived in Collioure in 1906; this example cast by the Valsuani Foundry in 1952. This work is number 4 from an edition of 10 plus 1 artist's proof.


The authenticity of this work has been confirmed by Georges Matisse.
