A Roman Marble Figure of Asklepios

with Early 18th Century Restorations


standing with the weight on his left leg, his right arm lowered and holding a staff with coiled serpent, his left hand resting on his hip, and wearing a himation enveloping the left arm, falling from his left shoulder, and draped around the lower body, a triangular overfold in front.

Height 67 cm.
