The Patek Philippe world time wristwatch with cloisonné enamel dial is one of the brand's most sought-after lineages which showcases their mastery in fine watchmaking. The pink gold reference 5131 was introduced in 2014 and only produced for three years, with its design reminiscent of the legendary reference 1415. Only 2-3 enamellists are capable of hand-crafting these masterpieces, with less than 40 being made each year in all metals.

The enameling process is incredibly challenging and requires the use of delicate gold wires to outline the continents. Only a few examples survived the painstaking process without cracking, and meeting Patek Philippe's color standards. The current dial displays Asia, Oceania and America, and it is a joy to behold. Unlike its successor reference, the Patek Philippe signature is engraved on the bezel without obstructing the view of the stunning enamel dial. The limited production of these cloisonné enamel dials has resulted in long waitlists at boutiques, the watch in single sealed condition making it an even rarer opportunity to own this horological marvel.
