Few watch brands on the market incorporate natural phenomena into their movements, and F. P. Journe is undoubtedly one of them. The Chronomètre à Résonance embodies a fascinating phenomenon known as resonance, believed to be discovered by the Dutch mathematician Christiaan Huygens. This phenomenon can be observed when two pendulum clocks, suspended from the same beam synchronize their beats. Centuries later, it found its way onto the wrists of watch enthusiasts.

The Chronomètre à Résonance was one of the earliest designs of F. P. Journe. Starting around 2004, the brand began manufacturing movements in pink gold, as seen in the present example. Crafted in platinum with a white gold dial, the present watch offers tranquility to the collector's wrist.
