Introduced in 1976 and designed by the famed Gerald Genta, the Nautilus 3700 was the brand's very first sports watch in Patek Philippe's history. Attempted to be made as a luxury watch in steel, the present example is discovered to be in a bold yellow gold case. Fewer than 1,150 yellow gold examples were produced out of a total of 7,300 reference 3700 watches. The present watch is powered by the calibre 28-255 C, still one of the thinnest automatic movement with central rotor in the market.
