Since Franck Muller established his namesake luxury timepiece manufacture in 1991, the House of Franck Muller has captivated collectors with its mastery of complications. Franck Muller timepieces are known to combine unique case and dial designs with high horology complications. The innovative and creative designs are a key distinguishing factor of the brand.

The present example of the reference 5850 RMT combines not one, but two of the most prestigious complications in the watchmaking industry: the minute repeater and the tourbillon.

Typically cased in yellow gold or platinum, the present reference 5850 RMT is a Piece Unique crafted exclusively in stainless steel, and is the only known example to be made in this material. Presented in the Franck Muller signature tonneau ‘Curvex’ shape, the movement is beautifully decorated by hand and showcases the high level of craftsmanship behind each component.
