Mature colour. A great nose of prunes, spices, huge character and "presence". Liquorice, with sweet, gummy definition. Some sweet aniseed. A lovely sweet "leather" taste. Now has a pruney finish, with sweet, soft cinnamon at the end. Really mocha as it lingers on the palate. Superb, full, rich, ultra-dimensional taste. Rolls round the mouth. Unbeatable and stunning, with great meaty character. Leave it in the glass and it opens out gloriously. Serena Sutcliffe, MW

Only Petrus! Only Magnums! A small but great collection by its name, of Petrus's magnums, owned by a European collector. All these magnums have recently been removed from a prestigious cellar with strict climate control where they have rested undisturbed since being acquired through John Armit, Petrus first exclusive UK Importer in the 1980s. There can be little doubt regarding the status of Petrus as one of the greatest and most coveted wines in the world and despite its relatively small size, this selection includes six rare magnums of the landmark 1982 vintage together with the great 1983 and a successful 1981 vintage for the property.

Tous ces magnums ont été récemment retirés d'une cave prestigieuse soumise à un contrôle climatique strict, où ils ont reposé sans être dérangés depuis qu'ils ont été acquis par l'intermédiaire de John Armit, premier Importateur exclusif de Petrus au Royaume-Uni dans les années 1980. Il ne fait aucun doute que Petrus est l'un des vins les plus grands et les plus convoités au monde et, malgré sa taille relativement petite, cette sélection comprend six magnums rares du légendaire millésime 1982, du formidable millésime 1983 et d'un millésime 1981 couronné de succès pour la propriété.
