Côte de Nuits, Grand Cru

Excellent levels, 1 label very slightly soiled and wrinkled, rest excellent appearance, French back labels, consecutive bottle numbers, straw wrapped, case banded prior to inspection, side of OWC has been sanded to remove the name of the importer


Highly spiced, bloomy bouquet, with a whiff of woodsmoke and cherries. Luscious, rich and soft with lovely fresh acidity. Rich maraschino cherries finish. Serena Sutcliffe, MW

Highlights include two cases of 1998 Richebourg, in original wooden cases, both with consecutive bottle numbers and banded until inspection. Sourced from reputable British merchants, the wines have been kept in professional storage since purchase.

-         to an address in London: £35 for the first 10 cases, plus £10 for any additional case, plus VAT and Sotheby’s Transit Care cover;

-         to a UK address outside of London (excluding Ireland and Scotland): £45 for the first 10 cases, plus £10 for any additional case, plus VAT and Sotheby’s Transit Care cover.

Sotheby’s cannot arrange or take responsibility for shipments to non-UK buyers, but will be pleased to introduce them to a forwarding agent.
