Description

Château Pontet Canet 2012

Pauillac, 5ème Cru Classé

In 2016, this has a nose imbued with fresh herbs and sheer class - that wonderful Pauillac plateau terroir again, allied to biodynamic methods. Incredibly 'sweet' on the palate, with real power behind it, as shown in the persistence and length 'en bouche'. Confirmed as one of the 'greats' in the Médoc this year. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
