The Rolex Submariner was launched in 1953 and has ever since been the absolute benchmark for diving watches. Following five decades of commercial success, Rolex launched the reference 16610LV in 2003 to celebrate the Submariner’s 50th anniversary. Affectionately nicknamed the ‘Kermit’, this anniversary piece is the only Submariner reference to boast a green aluminum bezel insert.

The earliest batches of the reference 16610LV display a specific font to the ‘40’ marking, namely the ‘Flat Four’.

The present F series watch comes with its coveted original Flat Four bezel.

While the Kermit was produced until 2010, the first series, starting with a F serial number, is by far the most collectible version. This is easily explained by the puropose of this model: celebrate the anniversary of the Submariner model.

An increasingly rare watch, this well preserved Flat Four Submariner is accompanied by its original warranty.
