IWC has been associated with pilot watches since the 1930's.
Also it does not come as a surprise that the Pilot's watch was selected to create a limited edition of 50 pieces only, in collaboration with the famous retailer Watches of Switzerland, an important and historic partner of IWC.
The piece has impressive proportions and is equipped with a split-second chronograph function as well as day and date indications.
Cased in stainless steel, it has a very legible black dial with contrasting indexes. The hands for the time have a black edge while those for the chronograph are red, and white for the split function. As such, it is extremely easy to read this highly complicated piece, even in extreme situations, whether it is while flying or in the busy contemporary environment.
