The Da Vinci Perpetual Rattrapante reference 3751 was introduced in 1995 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Chronograph Perpetual Calendar reference 3750. In addition to its classic chronograph and perpetual calendar functions, this model features a split-seconds mechanism. Designed by Hano Burtscher, the watch draws inspiration from Da Vinci’s circular sketches of the harbor fort in Piombino from 1499. The Da Vinci Split Seconds of this generation was available in either platinum or yellow gold. The present example, in platinum, was part of a limited edition of 500 pieces, making it a rare and highly collectable timepiece.
