2 volumes, 4to (316 x 240 mm) and folio (570 x 450 mm). Large supplemental photogravure plates in sepia numbered 220-255 printed on Van Gelder Holland with deckle edges housed in original portfolio; a very good or better set of the plates with only half a dozen showing noticeable offsetting from tissue guards. Text volume with ink stain to two pages of list of illustrations, else fine, with 75 photogravures. Minor rubbing to publisher's half morocco bindings, corners worn on text volumes, but with text gilt bright and spines unfaded.
