the silver oklad heavily chased and engraved with a scrolling foliate geometric motif, the saint's robes repoussé and chased to mimic embroidery, the halo, bible, labels and crosses with cloisonné enamelling, beneath the oklad the robes finely painted in red with gold embroidery, struck to the lower edge with maker's initials, 84 standard, the painting signed K.I. Malishev, the reverse of the icon further stamped with painter's mark under the fabric, dated
